Total Central America: Two Months of Wild
Total Central America: Two Months of Wild
Two months. Seven countries. One unforgettable ride. This all-out Central American adventure kicks off in Mexico City with tacos, mole, and big energy - then it’s full speed ahead through mountains, jungles, highlands, beaches, and islands. You’ll snorkel in Belize, boat across Lake Atitlán, crash with a local fam on Nicaragua’s Ometepe Island, and dance the night away in Panama City. Whether you’re soaking in cloud forest vibes in Costa Rica or chilling barefoot on the San Blas Islands, this trip is the ultimate way to see it all. From street eats to off-the-grid retreats, it’s two months of pure adventure - and it’s calling your name.
Highlights
Wander the buzzing streets and food stalls of Mexico City, Swim and snorkel in the turquoise waters of Belize’s Caye Caulker, Hop by boat to the Indigenous villages of Lake Atitlán, Hike lush cloud forests and uncover hidden waterfalls in Boquete, Experience island life off the grid in the San Blas Islands, Stay with a local community on the volcanic island of Ometepe, Kick back on a Caribbean beach in Bocas del Toro, Dance the night away under the lights of Panama City
Accomodation
Accommodation will be varied throughout your adventure. Some nights on this tour will be multi-share. This may involve 4-6 group members sharing and even (on rare occasions) dormitory-style rooms for the whole group. The majority of accommodation will have shared bathroom facilities. Where we use multi-share hostels, rooming requests of any kind cannot be taken. For private accommodation please see tours in our Classic Travel Style.
Group Leader
All G Adventures group trips are accompanied by one of our group leaders, a G Adventures representative, or an expedition team. The aim of the group leader is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible. They will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to our local friends. While not being guides in the traditional sense you can expect them to have a broad general knowledge of the countries visited on the trip, including historical, cultural, religious and social aspects. We also use local guides where we think more specific knowledge will add to the enjoyment of the places we are visiting- we think it's the best of both worlds.
